Enquiries thereof for His Majesty' s Justices of the Peace and of the said County of Devon and Acting for t he North Division of the Hundred of Shebbear and Hartland Hundred in th e said County. And each of the said Victuallers did acknowledge themsel ves to owe to our Sovereign Lord King George the Third the Sum of Ten P ounds apiece and the Several Sureties for them ffive pounds apiece. And i n the case of the Absence of the Victuallers then the two Sureties in t he Sum of Ten Pounds each to be levied on their Goods and Chattles, Lan ds and Tenements. UPON CONDITION that if the said Victuallers do severa lly keep Good rule and Order in their respective Houses, Yards and Back sides pursuant to the Licenses to each of them now granted for One Year i n such a manner as the Law in that case directs then their respective r econizances shall be void otherwise to remain in full fforce and effect .
